Spaces Help

Spaces is software that was created here in Beverly MA that has been partly refitted to provide a "space" for parents and teachers of Hannah Elementary students to easily upload photos from any device (e.g. cellphone) during the school year.

Spaces is not an app you need to install - spaces is a website. You will need network connectivity to upload images. See here how create a link on your cellphone that will enable you to open space quickly if you have any captured moments w=you wish to upload.

Spaces does not keep or sell your personal information. We only store enough information to identify you within our system. See our privacy policy here.

Images are served by Google but not publically available unless you know the url. While not impossible to see them online we make it reeeeallly hard to guess image urls. We assign random file urls (e.g. 04ee4f75-cf3d-41c3-80b8-216557236784) and you need an access key to view them.

All content is created and stored using Google infrastructure. Google was chosen for its performance, capabilities, and its leanings towards educational objectives. Although stored using Google infrastructure content is not indexed and part of public google search results. We created a few spaces/folders specifically to store images for the Hannah yearbook which we will share for people to upload to.

This application is for the Hannah Elementary School uploads only right now. So once you have access/sign in create a folder with your childs name or your name (if you are a teacher) and start uploading images and personal content (see the hannah page for more instruction and details)

Navigate to a space and use a file upload form in the space you have been invited to. All work may be done in the space.

We have disabled deletion of images until the yearbook is published. If you require something deleted before then please reach out to support and we can remove it for you. Once the yearbook is published we will provide functionality to delete all images as well as your account.

Due to the nature of uploaded images being single purpose for the yearbook we will take the initiative to delete all images.
